Iami is the twin sister of Iama in Hinduism, and the first woman in the world. According to the texts, Iami "offered" to Iama sexual intercourse, but he refused ... for this comic is crucial if they finished having children or not.
Iama is the god of death, lord of the spirits of the dead and guardian of the underworld. He's also who measures the balance of Karma when someone dies, so we might consider him kind of a "Karma god", but remember that Karma is something you make by yourself: Iama is just the one who imparts the punishment appointed by the type of karma you have accumulated with your free will.
Regent Goddess? Mmm ... that's an important detail too ;) where is Iama and why is Iami exerting his function?
